Most presentation skills courses focus primary attention on the presenters. This workshop concentrates at every point on the listeners: how they absorb and process information and where they focus their attention. Working from the listeners backwards, you learn how to design and deliver a "user-friendly" presentation. This approach enables you to achieve a quantum improvement in presentation effectiveness within a short time.
Extensive use of video recording and playback allows you to see and hear how you come across to others and provides the basis for individual coaching.
Managers at all levels who want to improve their skills and confidence at making presentations in English to internal as well as external audiences. This workshop will be of great benefit to those who have learned English as a second language as well as to native speakers of English.
As a result of attending this workshop, participants will:
Duration: Three days. A modified version can be conducted in two days.
Learning methodologies: An informal workshop in which participants learn by doing. Practice sessions are scheduled throughout the workshop. Video equipment enables you to maximize your progress.
We encourage you to use the workshop to prepare, practice and improve actual presentations which you will later make back on the job.
